They try to recapture or preserve their youth by talking and acting "hip" and the easy influence they have on young people only reinforces this. When I was in school I had several like this, even in a small, southern liberal-arts college. Some WERE cool, but they knew the limits and didnt let fun on a biology trip cross that thin line of depravity.
