The NYPD and FBI teamed up to solve a pair of vicious Russian mob killings from 1992 - nailing two Brooklyn men for the rubouts.......allegedly masterminded by a young wannabe, Marat Krivoi, who ran a tough crew of thugs with an eye toward impressing his father-in-law, Russian mob don Boris Nayfeld.
The murder indictments "should remind all criminals that they can never be sure that the long arm of the law won't grab them when they least expect it".........
Prosecutors charge that Krivoi, buddy Vitaly Ivanitsky and an unidentified accomplice lured the suspected informer, Boris Roitman, 21, to a deserted spot on Shell Road......Krivoi allegedly instructed the accomplice to blast Roitman with a shotgun. As the dying man lay bleeding, Krivoi is said to have ordered, "Shoot him again. Make sure he's dead."
In the second killing, Krivoi and Ivanitsky ambushed a local pool hustler, Thien Diep, 24 ........Krivoi allegedly held a gun to the man's head and demanded money. When Diep refused to take the men to his home, Krivoi allegedly shot him.

"Krivoi", "Ivanitskii", "Nayfeld" sounds like all from Odessa, Ukraine.

I meant "Odessa"-jewish accent. You have to hear it. Accually Russian language has many accents. One of them is odessa-jewish.

Yes historically Odessa had the big jewish community. Today she has it too.
Probably? What's this based on? I don't know any Jews with the first name "Pyotr". Krivoi and Ivanitski can go either way. As for Nayfield, his daughter may have married a russian man. This is all wishful thinking on your part. I've met a bunch of the stick up kids in the early to mid 1990's (some from high profile cases you may have heard) and I can tel you that a majority of them was not Jewish. In fact some went back to Russia to escape their warrants.

Historically, yes. Something like 40% of the population was jewish prior to WW2. I highly doubt its even 5% now that many have immigrated.

Uh, what about Ivanitsky? And you have no idea about Krivoi, either. Wishful thinking on your part. Besides, Roitman or Neyfeld could be from Russia which makes them as Russian as Pushkin.
