As writer Mark Steyn glumly put it in The New Criterion, "Much of what we loosely call the Western world will not survive this century, and much of it will effectively disappear within our lifetimes, including many if not most Western European countries."So long suckerrrrrrrrs.

I'd liken Islamists to plant pests and diseases. A healthy plant may get a bite or two, but the blighted plant gets eaten to the ground.

I've got plenty of kids. But the government hasn't made it easy. The tax laws are basically biased against families. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only downside to having a large family--it's economically difficult.

The low birth rates in the First World would not be a bad thing, maybe even a good one, if it were not for the population explosion in the Third World.
Too bad a mass contraception couldn't be slipped into the water or food supplies of some places.

Already happening. Average birthrate per woman in Mexico was nearly 7 children in 1965. Today, it is 2.6.
Its just that Euro-Peons aren't having ANY children to replace themselves. And certain morons wonder why there aren't that many Euro immigrants, aside from Russian mail order brides.

what do you think the result will be for the USA?

Good point. Actually I saw on the CIA web site tha tthe fertility rate in MExico is now 2.45. By comparison, it was 3.1 in the USA in 1957 with 3.6 for women born between 1930 and 1935.
The key is to educate women. Dont be surprised if Mexico's fertility rate falls to 2.1 within 10-20 years.
I was watching a professor from a university in mexico city on cspan. He said the demographic reason for immigration to the USA from mexico will end in 15 years.

Worth repeating. The corollary joke is that Mexico will no longer send immigrants to the U.S. in 15 years because they will all be over here!
But seriously folks, the birthrate has dropped considerably in Mexico, due to urbanization and the promotion of birth control by the PRI governments. We should expect it to continue to drop for the fact that, once off the farm and in the city, there is no reason for the extra kids to work the land. Plus, it gets very loud in those apartments with even 8 kids.

You said it. My ancestors roll in their graves whenever a moonbat SCOTUS justice starts trying to ape European law.
