If they get Bin laden and Bush's "poll numbers" for approval jump up, then it only shows Americans, at least the ones being polled, have their head in the sand. Maybe they are polling men who can't process more than one thing at a time. I hear women are better at multi-tasking.

What women have (besides multi-tasking) in greater nnumbers is stamina. When we got into this war I knew we were in it for the long haul (since I listened to and believed the President). OBL will eventually be captured, whether in this operation or not. At some point he is going to make a mistake, or someone will get tired of living in caves and dirt-floor huts and turn him in.

Men are by nature more impatient and tend to move on to other tasks (think channel surfing..LOL).

They debated on Fox onw morning how the country would react to the capture or killing of Bin Laden...one of the F&F morning crew said it would be no big deal.... Brian Kilamede said it would become a quasi-national holiday.

Anyone polled who is ANTI-BUSH today but PRO-BUSH tomorrow due to the capture or killing of Bin Laden is a simpleton and prone to emotional tantrums, outbursts and temporary feelgoodism like a NEW HIGH......in other words a LEFTIST.

I will be grateful when we get him but it will have NO EFFECT on my approval/disapproval of this President!

Bush's polls may be due to massive sampling error where the respondents are being polled from DemonRAT populations. It may be also be a result of who is home or willing to answer the telephone. Republicans may not be as willing to answer the phone because they are busy doing other things.
