We'll have to agree to disagree :)I guess I'm a naive idealist. I still believe that every problem has s solution. Sometimes you can't see it and sometimes you can. Sometimes the solution is easy, and sometimes impossibly hard to accept. Sometimes the solution is to just hold your head high and go down with the ship because there is nothing else you can do except put it in God's hands. That is just life. Would you die for your ideals and beliefs?
As for what we were talking about earlier, yes there is a solution. You fight. You refuse to accept the situation dealt to you. You do not blindly accept. The solution is that you try.
That's not a solution, that's a creed.
A solution, by definition, solves the problem. You are suggesting that what I'll term "ways to cope with the problem" are "solutions" TO the problem.
They're not.
Actually, if you look back to my original point, in post # 99, you'll see that rather than disagreeing with me, you are underscoring my original position, namely [from that post],
So, we're back to square one, except that this time, you agree with me! :)
So how do we, the American people fix this?We don't.
We can't.
We endure it.
After reading your latest post, I find myself rethinking my position and you are absolutely correct. My solution is my creed. We'll agree to agree on this one. You have taught me something new and made me open up and think a little bit more. Thank you. See? You can learn something new every day :)
