Good luck! Zapatero in Spain has brought nothing but conflict to Spain, particularly with the Church and over regional issues.

The conservatives around the world are doing it to themselves.

I fully expect the US to go left in the next two elections.

The Muzzie's imams instructed their followers to vote Communista...

Looks like Anti Christ is moving his pieces around the big board at a stepped up pace....

Big day must be getting closer....

imo

Is that why the Conservatives took over in Canada and made strides in Germany? Come now, shyt happens. Sometimes you lose elections, that is the way of it. I don't know if the left will win the next two elections in the U.S. But, I know it is healthy to always assume that they will. That way, you keep on fighting hard and never take anything for granted.

It's sad but not unexpected. We survived Clinton (barely).

Remember, it's a battle of ideas and culture. They invariably trump politics.

Don't quit or get discouraged.

They (Canada and Germany) are cycling in time. The conservatives currently in office have not only not consolidated the base, they have actively alienated it to be all things to all people.

Fight? For what?

I want something other than column a and column b.

I've done a quick check on your comments and find anti-Americanism to be a steady theme. You are rude and a name caller as well.

Obviously you don't like Berlusconi, and you have a right to your opinion. But I can't understand from your posts what makes you sign up to post on a conservative primarily American news forum.

Why do you post here Troll? I like an italian, and saw your comment to her, which in turn prompted me to do a search under your name.

You obviously have problems with Burlusconi, Americans, and Legal immigrants to the United States. I don't understand why you even bother with this site, all of your comments are negative, and lean liberal. You reek with the stereotypical/leftist European arrogance. I am surprised that you have not already been banned. I guess your hit and run tactics have been working up until now. I hope the Administrators take a good look at you.

nah, its not the muzzies who instructed us to vote against Berlusconi.... the guy is a complete idiot, that's all. Would you vote for someone who closes his electoral campaign saying that, thanks to him, life expectancy in Italy is now two years longer? Someone who addresses Italians as 'testicles' just because they don't agree with his politics? or someone who brings his 90-year-old mom to the polling station remembering her (loudly, in front of the TV cameras) to vote for his party?
We, and the rest of the worls, will be SO MUCH better off without this imbecile..... he can move to America, if he wishes. Bah bye.

Italians havn't been to known to make intelligent political decisions for at least 1000 years... maybe 1700.. or 2000.

The Economist magazine endorsed Prodi because they could not justify supporting Berlusconi, as much as Prodi's platform moves Italy in the wrong direction. Berlusconi has done almost nothing to liberalize Italy's economy so it can compete in the world today; he's been too busy passing laws to save his own behind from prosecution.

It's hard to argue with that point of view. I doubt Prodi will be able to do much damage and hopefully a REAL conservative reformer can win the next election.

Is support for Berlusconi an essentially conservative position? I am grateful for his support on the WOT, but he's a lousy leader, a crook, and as much of a socialist as his opponents.

I don't doubt that Burlusconi has a lot of problems, he certainly is far from perfect actually, but he is very much pro-US, and I would hate to see him go on that basis. I find that he is somewhat traditional with religion and issues regarding Italian sovereignty, much better than his opponents, especially considering their coalitions. Burlusconi's party is at least center-right, while the other guy is of greens, liberals, communists, and socialists.

My beef is with how europride goes about attacking Burlusconi, and some other Freepers. Do a search on his comments, and you can see for yourself what I mean.
