A New York Post Page Six staffer solicited $220,000 from a high-profile billionaire in return for a year's "protection" against inaccurate and unflattering items about him in the gossip page, the Daily News has learned.

It's one bad apple and not the entire paper.
Yeah, but it makes you wonder if others will come forward....
"Burkle is a big liberal donor and friend of Bill. It is to bad they could not have taken him down without all this fuss."
And Burkle is thinking, "I'm a big liberal donor and friend of Bill, I could get away with a murder performed on the 5:00 news; I don't need to put up with this. Hello, FBI?"
