I'm sure you've seen this already, but in case you missed it, here is a ping.
This will be the jury selection battle of the decade in NJ.

I suppose this could be considered a step forward, especially from a state like New Jersey that is dominated by liberal judges.
But the idea that a jury can decide whether a fact is a fact is ludicrous. Of course abortion "terminates a life." That's a scientific fact. I suppose the issue the jury needs to decide is whether the doctor misled the patient when he insisted that it was not a human being in this woman's womb, but only a bit of blood.
That's an outright lie, and the question at issue, since the baby is now dead in any case, is whether the doctor should be punished for telling such a lie with horrible consquences to the mother and child.

I would feel more hopeful it this was being tried in a more conservative leaning state. NJ is pretty far to the left. But,"With God all things are possible."

This will be interesting.

When Mrs. Acuna asked Dr. Turkish whether her baby was already there, he told her "Don't be stupid, it is just some blood," according to Mrs. Acuna. Mrs. Acuna wanted to know if there was a human being already in existence. Even Dr. Turkish has acknowledged that he would have told her that there was just some "tissue" that was being removed.
Three weeks later she was rushed to a local hospital because of heavy hemorrhaging and was told by a nurse that the doctor had "left part of your baby in you." >>>

Mrs. Acuna has stated that she relied upon representations of Dr. Turkish, and submitted to the abortion procedure. Three weeks later she was rushed to a local hospital because of heavy hemorrhaging and was told by a nurse that the doctor had "left part of your baby in you." If this woman had gone to Tiller or some other late-term aborticutionists, she would have been advised to wait a few more weeks and have a D&X because the baby holds together better when being yanked from the womb. But she would still have been lied to and told 'it' wasn't yet a human being ... while the still warm remains were rushed into dissection for sale to 'research institutes' like OU or UNC or Harvard.

Looks like we're in agreement on the ills of abortion. Imagine that!
