Is that normal?

What is this ''bump'', ''ping'' and ''bttp'' stuff?
Also, can I use regular quotes when posting or do I have to replace all regular quotes double-single quotes?
Do you have any instructions more detailed than the newbie FAQ?

Here's an helpful tutorial for HTML.
HTML Sandbox Ping is used to page other posters to the thread. Bump and bttt are used to keep a thread near the top of the latest comments page.
I hope that helps.

Thanks for the ping and bump info. I pretty much figured out what they meant but wasn't quite sure.
As for the HTML stuff, I'm leetz. I got mad html skillz. But no matter how many ''intro to HTML'' pages you read, every board has its own quirks that aren't covered in any of them. So it's off to trial and error land again with my best buddy--the preview button.
Thanks again for your help.

If I'm not mistaken I thought I heard his voice as the Army jeep in Cars - anybody else hear that? And yes, I agree pure comedic brilliance -me and my kids love his show.
