It is...she's retaining water around her joints - ankles and knees - and that makes moving stiff and painful.
In the pool, she does great. The therapist got her to 108* of bend this AM with no pain, but shortly after leaving the pool the stiffness and pain return.
Her primary doc gave her water pills yesterday, we'll see how that works on reducing the swelling.
That sounds very painful indeed.
I hope the water pills work. I'm sure she is getting very tired of dealing with this.
