This garbage didn't all of a sudden hit us in the face.
It happened incrementally.
A nation of free people is rarely turned into a mob of slaves overnight - it happens slowly.
50 years ago this kind of garbage would have been unthinkable. The folks along the Mexican border would have been using armed force and the American military would have been dispatched to assist them.
