U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-4th Ga.) is expected to have something new to say about her run-in with a Capitol police officer at a news conference on Monday morning.
The incident happened last week. McKinney says she was the victim of racial profiling by Capitol police in the incident.
McKinneys spokespersons say that she will have something new to say at a 10:30 a.m. news conference, at the Community Church of Christ on Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta.

It's so easy to RopeADopey Liberal!
She forgot to come out as a lesbian during her last statement.
She said nothing about apologizing to the cop. She gave a a campaign speech. If she has an opponent he/she should request equal time to rebutt. She stated all the things she has been doing for her constituents. What a joke she is but evidently she represents people who like what she is and does. Sad but true.
Does anybody have a picture of the pin that she wouldn't wear. I'm wondering if it has anything that looks like an American Flag on it, or an American Eagle, or something that clearly would be pro-american about it.
I'm thinking a good line in a column would be "we can't expect her to wear her pin, it clashes with her philosophy".
One quote by the lawyer: the real issues were "sex, race and Ms. McKinney's progressiveness."
Then, "The pin is not the issue," the six-time congresswoman said. "The issue is face recognition."
OK. So on one hand, they are saying that she is being singled out because of her politics, then they turn around and complain that they didn't know who she is. How can you discern someone's politics if you don't know who they are?
I would love to be the next cop to pull her over for speeding and demand to see her driver's license.
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
LOLOLOL!! I haven't heard that in AGES, thank you for posting it today! :)
Oh, I'm all for being silly.
Especially in the face of such horrid idiocy. We have to stay healthily insane somehow in the face of so much serioius and destructive systemic insanity!!!
More power to you.
I just want to get something done that will have at least a bit of a lasting impression on the bw*tch's horrid arrogance and traitorous values.
Representative Cynthia McKinney (93.2 %)

I CANNOT believe that she is blowing this whole thing out of proportion like this--is she up for re-election this year?!
We need Cynthia's head photochopped onto Lootie, stealing the Heineken...
Yup.
The lead in my later article - http://www.11alive.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=78162 :
U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-4th Ga.) used her recent media attention to tell assembled news cameras what she has done for them at a Monday speech.
She did not address a possible criminal charge stemming from an altercation last week with a Capitol police officer.
The speech, before a meeting of the Concerned Black Clergy, was preceded by a number of local Atlanta area politicians and religious leaders who bolstered McKinneys racially-tinged statements from last Friday.
Reporters were not allowed to ask questions at the end of the remarks.
I cannot find anything current in a search. I recall from work with a former MOC years ago, his pin was something like the House Seal with the notation of his particular session. Something like this, though not precisely:
The session number was in very large font clear as day ... no way ANYONE, let alone a member of the Capitol Hill police force would mistake one wearing it for some run-of-the-mill visitor to the Capitol.
She actually goes to a stylist and pays to get her hair to look like that?
(love Looter Guy)
Now you've gone and done it.
The Yorkie won't stop barking.
"Any clue? How about this one? What is the ocean that borders Georgia?"
"OK. Those are hard questions. Spell your middle name for $500"
ROFLMAO
