Once the inflow is essentially cut off, the problem of those remaining in the country won't seem as severe. They can be dealt with at a more deliberate pace.

I feel the same way- secure the border, then we can discuss options. I will not support any plan that doesn't first secure the border, no more promises of future beefing up the border plans. There have been too many broken promises about border enforcement. I need to see it to believe it.
