If anyone perpetrates an act that violates our laws, you do not want them in our country. Does that apply only to those who violate our immigration laws or those who violate any law. If your outrage applies only to those that violate immigration laws, what is the moral turpitude that is so heinous that your outrage can be selective. If your outrage applies to all violators of our laws, what would you do with those in our country that violate anything other than our immigration laws? Where would you deport them?
If it anyone who violates our immigration laws is a CRIMINAL, then is anyone who violates our traffic laws a CRIMINAL? Is anyone who is busted for owning a little weed a CRIMINAL? And if they are, is it CRIMINAL to let these CRIMINALS stay here?
If a bunch of commies fly red flags at an anti-war protest, does it indicate an invasion by communists? If a bunch of unreconstructed Southerners fly confederate flags at a rally in Alabama, does that indicate a resurgence of the Confederacy? I don't think so. You cannot equate the flag waving of a bunch of moonbats with an invasion.
I agree that the problem of illegal immigration must be addressed. A national ID card may be needed. A fence is necessary. Huge fines and prison time should be imposed on all those who employ illegals. But, let's control the rhetoric, folks. After this debate is over, we are still going to have to work together on a host of other issues.
