The poor high school kid at Apache Junction is being given a bad rap. If they arrested him, they should have arrested the Mexican kid(s) that first removed the American flag,then hoisted the Mexican flag. There appears to be a cause and affect that is being overlooked.

I concur. Someone disrespecting an American flag deserves at least the same penalty of someone disrespecting a foreign flag. Both should have penalties, but disrespecting an American flag should have the more severe penalty.

Though I will make exceptions: burning totalitarian countries' flags should have no penalties because they don't stand for anything anyways. Burn as many Nazi, North Korean, or Cuban flags as you want. Mexico isn't a totalitarian country yet, so their flag should be given at least a little (and I mean *little*) bit of respect.
