I concur. Someone disrespecting an American flag deserves at least the same penalty of someone disrespecting a foreign flag. Both should have penalties, but disrespecting an American flag should have the more severe penalty.

Though I will make exceptions: burning totalitarian countries' flags should have no penalties because they don't stand for anything anyways. Burn as many Nazi, North Korean, or Cuban flags as you want. Mexico isn't a totalitarian country yet, so their flag should be given at least a little (and I mean *little*) bit of respect.

I hate to see young kids messed up, or caught in emotions. I hope things can calm down, but I have a feeling it won't. The American people are tolerant up to a point, then all of nonsense and foolishness will have to stop.
