Yeah, right. Ever heard of Pearl Harbor? How about September 11?

I always love a little hyperbole in the morning! Neither of those were tit for tat actions. Tit for tat would be if we responded to Pearl Harbor by attacking a single Japanese naval base, responding to terrorists by launching a couple of cruise missiles into Afghanistan, or by burning a Mexican flag in response to it being raised on American soil.

The key point is: if you need to act, then act. But don't respond emotionally. If someone smacks you on the face, don't smack them back. There is a problem, and it can be solved rationally: call the police, get some friends around, and if necessary perform actions to prevent the other person from smacking you (by violence only as a last resort). And then pray for him (yes, it is *required*). If someone raises a Mexican flag by an American school, a rational response would have been: take down the flag, lock it up, and expel the students responsible.

Good morning.
"Neither of those were tit for tat actions."

A historical example of tit-for-tat occurred when a Nazi bomber mistakenly dropped it's load on a British city and the Brits responded by bombing Berlin and Hitler responded by abandoning the campaign against the RAF and beginning terror bombing against civilians. The circle ended with Germany crushed.

How do you know the silencing of the Spanish language propaganda stations wasn't a tactical move that had no emotion attached to it? We did something similar to the Iraqis.

Never mind, I'm just stirring the pot.

I respect your position and understand your beliefs. However, the Warrior class has to act at times to protect us from those who would ultimately destroy our Republic. Acts of violence are often a necessary part of defending all that we have. We must never forget to pray to God for forgiveness before going into battle. But, never forget, in the end, it will be the Warriors who defend all that we hold precious.

R-i-i-i-g-h-t. Cowards who cannot or will not defend themselves, owe both their safety and their freedom to those with the courage to defend them. Stand and fight for the Flag that affords you such liberal comforts, and the Nation that holds it dear, or stand clear and let the true Patriots of this nation defend you.

Cowardice on the front lines is the lowest form of surrender. The French are experts in this.
