Look at the names some of these nutty celebrities give their kids. Even the "conservative" Bruce Willis has 3 kids with Demi Moore with very odd names. Isn't one of them a girl named Scout??
Then there are names like Apple, and Pilot Inspektor. I think the latter one is the son of that "My name is Earl" guy. Are these people just idiots or what?

At least most people can spell Scout and Apple. Other than being strange names they are at least workable.

I didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if someone already told you that Scout is the girl from "To Kill a Mockingbird".
And, no lie, I was watching Tiger this past weekend and wondered if he would have been so successful without a cool nickname or with a totally non-spellable one.
I think Demi and Bruce also have one named Rumor--after Rumor Godden probably.
Scout is hardly unheard of. It's a surname, and that makes it fair game.
Same goes with Apple.
