If an employer can tell you what you can have in your car then he can wreak havoc with your life, what if he doesn't like baby seats, how do you get your kids to and from school or daycare? Can she ban the bible? or leather seats?, can they ban tire gauges, how about spare tires?

If she owns the parking lot, she can ban anything she wants. If I don't like it, I'll have to figure something out. There are infinitely many options, but a few include: work for someone else more reasonable; comply with the rules; park nearby and walk; take a bus; carpool; some combination of the above.

Or you could organize a boycott against the company and try to put them out of business.

I am boycotting Conoco as of this moment.

That is incorrect, due to laws against discrimination in hiring and the potential for disparate impact. The babyseat example is one where there would be an obvious age bias to the policy, making it illegal due to age discrimination.

It is easy to say employers have absolute control over the interiors of cars and trucks allowed on their property, but I think the courts would disagree once an employer started such nonsense. The media will support anything against a gun, but an employer that tried to ban baby seats, or plaid seat covers, or carrying a spare tire, a bible in the glove compartment, or keeping windshield washer fluid in the windshield washer fluid holder would lose in court, justifiably so.
