"Are they unified on using force if the provisions of the bill are resisted?"

Can't talk for everyone or even generalize nationwide because I haven't seen any polls, but I can assure you that everyone I talk with is after seeing Old Glory defiled by hanging below the rag of that cesspool to the south of us.

Well, sort of. If I can be a Master Sgt. or higher I'm with you. But I don't know what the "Peak Oil fall" is.

>So call their teachers or parents these names, but 15 year-olds will be for anything that means time away from class.<

These aren't just "names". It's a damn fact the Mexican culture is one of fascism and racism. Those that come to America to integrate themselves are trying to get away from all that. I welcome them.

You act like I'm only talking about a few kids. I'm talking the adults, I'm talking those who support them.

WE NEED NIXON-NOW MORE THAN EVER

In 1976 friend of mine filed as an Elector in the our state's Electoral College pledged to Howard Baker.

Another friend said he would do hime one better. We went down to the secretary of States office and he filed as an elector for Richard M. Nixon!

It got him national coverage and interviews from stations around the country.

Ideologues are ignorant of history. In 1836, when the Texas Revolution occured, there were already more Anglos north of the Rio Bravo than Mexicans. The Power of the Comanche had prevented the settlement of Mexicans north of San Antonio and it was only a small city. Austin had been invited to establish a colony because the Mexican government wanted a buffer between Indian raiders and the Mexican settlements.

While I understood the words in the reponse I didn't understand the conclusions drawn from the words.

This thread and this discussions is about violations of US codes.

The 1965 immigration act, while it did remove racial, cultural and geopolitical barriers, changed legal immigration standards.

You may have been thinking about Reagan's Immigration Control and Reform Act of 1986 which was did excuse illegal immigration. California's Prop 187 penalized illegal immigrants to the limits that a state could impose.

The remark " what Wilson tore asunder" was a reference to the GOP's perceived image within the illegal alien community. Wilson's support of Prop 187 tore asunder the GOP's hopes of cultivating the votes of illegal aliens. Now Rove and Bush as paddling upstream madly to amend the damage that Wilson wrought. They are pandering as hard as they can to get a slice of the illegal alien vote.

The problems we face today regarding the Mexican invasion over the last 20 years is a direct result of serious policy mistakes made by three administrations. Roosevelt, Reagan and Bush 43. Roosevelt's federal appellant appointments dramatically altered the original intent of "under the control of". Reagan's 1986 legislation green lighted illegal immigration. Bush 43's speech of January 7, 2003 put out the welcome wagon and opened the flood gates.

This is not a case of left or right. This is a travesty of both the left and the right. That travesty is especially bitter because it was driven by two Republicans, both unprincipled, political hacks. Pete Wilson and Carl Rove.

Roosevelt, the third leg of the terrible triangle, was simply a socialist born of privilege who's family shame in the era of world wide depression drove to him shoulder "the white man's burden". He couldn't help it. It was his lot in life to make the US's less fortunate bound economically and socially to his rising class of financial and philosophical elite.

Last night was ... different. I was blind sided. No squishyness here today! ; )

Control the borders. (no excuses, just do it)

Crack down hard on employers of illegals. Summary of Title VII of H.R. 4437—Employment Eligibility Verification H.R. 4437 is a good start. It eliminates the lame excuse "employers aren't document experts." Implement it in six months instead of two years from now. Harsher penalties are fine with me. Extend the bill to include provisions for aggressive enforcement. Search these employers out and prosecute relentlessly.

I don't recommend increasing efforts to find illegals except on the border. But those who are found by any authority should be acted upon immediately. The FedGov should make every effort to facilitate local LEAs and expedite detainment and/or deportation.

Tent city jails on the border for illegals and employers of illegals with work crews to build border security infrastructure.

Yeah . . . I love God, and I'm honored to be His friend. :o)

We have got to unify on this and only THEN can we maybe offer some sort of compromise solution to the illegals that are already here.

Good point. You know, Praxeus, I keep thinking of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. We could get there some day, you know? We need to be proactive about the situation, instead of allowing it to get to that point. Because once it does . . . well, it's scary to even think about.

God is a good one to have for a friend ;)

Re the Israeli/Pali scenario.. I hear ya.

One thing though.. I do not believe the illegals to be evil as I do the palis, nor capable of their atrocities. For the most part, the mexi's are Christians.

BUT.. they must know we mean business on this issue. If they get the message in spades, then perhaps they will be more than glad to assimilate and become AMERICANS that love AMERICA and other AMERICANS. Not because we wag our tails to convince them we are nice puppies so they will be nice. Rather, show our fangs then be nice after they back up and behave themselves.

The message must be sent in unmistakable terms.

The beginning of a civil war incited by our elected officals. Keep the masses confused and at each other's throats while they loot the national treasury.
