Non-citizens are not guaranteed any constitutional rights under the constitution other than due process. Illegal aliens are not due any constitutional rights. They encroached our borders unlawfully and are criminal invaders.

"Let's start dumping our homeless; or gangbangers; our crack addicts and our liberals in Mexico and see how quickly Fox builds a wall..." You're on to something now. Save us plenty of money on jails and unneeded social programs. Give that hypocritical SOB Fox and his buddies a taste of their own medicine.

Mexicans have shown that they do not care about our immigration laws so even with a guest worker program that provides for all our labor needs many more mexicans will try to come illegally. The fence, which is 700 miles long not the 2000+ La Raza would lead you to believe is necessary because mexicans cant be trusted to wait in line no matter how generous we are.

You may be right. However, the so-called assimilation is quite selective even among Americans of European descent. Remember the expression of ethnic pride during the various parades (incl. the recent St. Patrick's Day one)? This tendency is not new even among communities that have existed here for a while.
That said, I agree with you on the Mexican propensity for their racist, pro-La Raza sentiments. In fact, in his book, Who are We?, Samuel Huntington demonstrates how the concept of assimilation is entirely missing among these criminals. The move toward bilingual education and this demand for reconquista "rights" are both clear reminders of the dangers facing this country.
Finally, you do realize that there is a difference between mail-order brides who want to come to America and this Mexican/Central American/South American rabble, don't you? The former wants to come here with the eventual goal of assimilation; the latter want to assimilate the USA into Mexico.

"if added costs in agriculture, service industries, etc. take down the economy of the entire left side of America, that is going to impact the NE sooner or later."
Those added costs will only be at the side benefit of higher wages. This means fewer will qualify for entitlement benefits, and will also lower unemployment and latent unemployment in those areas. This will also result in a higher percentage of wages paid out remaining within the domestic economy instead of being sent to Mexico. This will actually stimulate economic growth.

We won't have to round them up, deport them, and make sure none return - Because -
If employers are fined for hiring illegals - the employers will quit hiring them and the illegals will have no work!
Then - the illegals will find a way to get back to their homes in Mexico just like they got here! We won't have to deport them!
Because - they have no love for America - Just our money - which they won't be able to get!

"I don't want the grants, or the purse strings / control of federal dictates. I am a big States' Rights kind of fiscal conservative who thinks the federal government has grown too large and should collect LESS taxes. Considering I graduated from law school 10 years ago, who is the "moran"?" Are you an immigration lawyer? Do either you professionally or pro-bono work for any advocacy group currently pushing amnesty?
You have actually taken a solidly pro-illegal stance based upon other issues in seperate threads. Your current 'fiscally conservative' tack is suspect at best.

Actually - I know of quite a few Filippinas who have lived in this country for quite a number of years who have no intentions of giving up their citizenship to the Philippines and have a great desire to return to the Philippines when they have accummulated a good amount of money. That is why I was interested in the program; I wanted to see if my observations were valid or imagined.

I have said tis before and I'll say it again - you cannot have divided loyalties as a citizen of any country. Hyphenated Americans have no place in America. Period.

Please call them INVADERS and don't compare them to people who are legal aliens!
President Bush has been great on most things except for our border.
He has been great on the war on terrorists.
But on the border he is a gross failure.
He acted fast and correct on the 3,000+ people murdered at the world trade center.
He ignores the many rapes, murders and robberies which might be larger than the murders and money loss at the world trade center.
More Americans are abducted on the border of Mexico than in Iraq!
Start building the fence.
It should be made a felony for Criminals who overstay their visas and Invaders.
I believe we should give amnesty to these poor CRIMINALS or INVADERS.
This should be a 2 week amnesty to get the heck out of our Country.
The ones who ignore this amnesty should be buried in a tent city jail and fined $10,000 or buried elsewhere.
All aiders and abettors of these CRIMINALS or INVADERS should get 1 year in a tent city jail and a $10,000 fine for each CRIMINAL aided.
Those in government should be the first ones charged.

As for Constitutional rights that EVERY PERSON, whether illegal alien or U.S. citizen has, From a purely rational basis, only U.S. citizens can have rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Is there an association of border patrol agents? Have they come out for/against this proposal?
To: indcons
My solution: snipers to the border.
