Now, don't get your panties in a wad, it was just a hypothetical "what if" scenario. The draft would only work on legal aliens who have had a sound background check, speak English, etc. I guess the point being, if you want to be an "American" that comes with responsibilities too. Where are the loyalties of the new immigrants?

If the illegals just want the US to provide a paycheck, free health care and free education, that's not a good enough reason for them to be here. Waving the Mexican flag just doesn't cut it.

73% in favor of a bill which would make illegal immigration a felony. I don't think CBS, nor the powers-that-be, anticipated that outcome.

As for service in the Armed Forces, that could be one LEGAL way for a foreign national to become a citizen. The Legion Etrangier has served France very well indeed for over 150 years.
