Well, our version of reality is all based upon our personal interactions and direct experience...if you're "normal" that is. Would you agree with that?

I have had no contact with gangs. I have no reason to visit the inner cities or the even the suburban areas where gangs exist.

I submit to you that those examples you cite are the exception and not the rule.

I am self-employed and my exposure to the illegal immigrant is nothing like yours.

Didn't Jesus W. Bush, our lord and savior already try this before? And what did it get the moron-in-cheef? Signs featuring his likeness with a drawn-on pig nose featured at the rallies. That's what I call "strategery"!!!

You sound like you hate President Bush and blame him for everything. How dare you call him those vile names here?

Why don't you turn off the television news and get outside once in awhile?

Find another outlet besides paintballing. Seems to have put you on edge.

Just read some of the cr*p on your "about page".

Your xenophobia is there for all to see.

Have a great day.

Please don't post to me again. Thank you.

No. Nobody anywhere would have supported taking a child from his mother for any reason.

Not so fast, IF 12 Million ILLEGAL MEXICAN VOTE Democrat, the CONSERVATIVS are DEAD.

If they go home to fix their own country, they won't be voting Democrat here, now will they?

You excuse illegal immigration for the same reasons you "sometimes drive 80mph" or "fail to wear your seatbelt".

I assert that is false - further I assert that you have another unstated reason.

The only likeness driving without a seatbelt, driving over the speed limit, and illegally entering the US all have is that they are all illegal. I'm glad you at least admit that much.

But that's where the similarity ends. It doesn't cost me when you drive 80. It doesn't cost me if you choose to not wear a seat belt. But it does cost me when someone illegally enters the US. Do you fail to see the obvious differences making your analogy laughable?

Why not tell the real reasons behind your positions? Are you afraid of telling them?

Look at the main story on www.drudgereport.com and tell me what the "stoodent's" headband reads. What does "brown" mean? Does it signify his skin color/racial identity? Yes, virginia, it does! This in large part is a racial thang, and that racism and yes, xenophobia, is coming from their side, not ours.

Have a great day. Please don't post to me again. Thank you.

Sorry, but after your reaction to my previous posts and "about page", I had to! And you can spell out the word CRAP. It won't kill you if you do, and it doesn't make you a better man if you don't...

If you need a "real reason" I suppose it's that I come into contact with these folks on a regular basis.

For the past decade I've seen dreams come true for ALL immigrants. legal or otherwise.

In Montgomery County, they have factually pushed the real estate boom for the past 5-8 years.

They are 1st time buyers.

Homebuyers buy washers and dryers, granite counters and marble baths. IT'S THE ECONOMY.

When you get to know these people as friends and clients...it should be easy for you to see why I want the ones that are here to be able to stay.

The tone and magnitude of the demonstrations in LA over whose land it is doesn't affect me so frankly I could care less. Sorry.

Do you know what I see when I see all those kids who walked the freeways? Kids spending money on jeans and CDs and ipods. And their parents providing them a roof.

To me it's all about business. Nothing else.

I love them. I'm a dirty capitalist.

You are correct. As long as it takes 60 to stop a filibuster, 55 Republicans are useless in this case. Realistically they need about 65 to overcome McCain and others like Specter, etc.

But American is a nation with a culture and laws; we are not a contract employer. Are they in this country to be Americans, or are they here to be a 'something else' working in America?

Having more people in this country to buy consumer goods isn't a real net gain, because they also consume resources, like schools, hospitals, etc.
