Jack Abramoff: No Derogatory Information on Tom DeLay
The National Ledger ^ | 03-25-06 | Robert Novak

WASHINGTON -- Disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff has advised friends that he has no derogatory information about former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and is not implicating him as part of his plea bargain with federal prosecutors.

Abramoff's guilty plea on fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy charges requires him to provide evidence about members of Congress. That led to speculation that this would mean trouble for DeLay, who faces money laundering and conspiracy charges in Texas.

(I learned that from watching the excruciatingly patient Karl Rove for the past five years.)

Astute political insight. Rove (and hence Bush) will wait until he's sees 'the whites of their eyes' 99.9% of the time. This is very unsettling to most, who start screaming "But they're shooting at us, shouldn't we shoot back or do something?!!".

In the old days Earle would be taken out and horse whipped.
Probably should be today too.

How about being tarred, feathered and then peeled like a banana?

It would be a show! It would be moderately painful to see all of Ronnies hairs pulled out by the follicles as the tar is removed in strips. He'd be bald as a doorknob.

...or ...the movie Braveheart....when William Wallace & his men are keeping low and holding those very long poles they crafted....

..and Wallace says....Hold!.....Hold! ...and the enemy keeps riding closer and closer and closer....

..and the camera pans to some of his men, and they're glancing at him very nervously and you can imagine them thinking!....

DO IT!..NOW!...and

..yet, Wallace waits until the enemy is practically on them....

.and then...

..well, you know what happens!

I love that part.

That's my analogy of Lancey Howard's prediction! :)
