Somewhat cruel and mocking on your part. She has confessed and is apparently prepared to face her punishment. What is seen so often these days is the claim of innocence when guilt is obvious (i.e. O.J. Simpson, Melendez brothers, child molestation suspects, etc., etc.). What a difference. No long trial, no massive expense to the public. If TN has the death penalty, then after conviction, execute her quickly and humanely.
How many time have you seen a perp's confession recanted as soon as the loy-ahs get a hold of her?

She confessed to doing the act. You have no proof if she is going to claim extenuating reasons...for example, what if he had gobs of child porn on his home computer while one of his daughters was being sexually molested by the guy?

The defense will be ... he's a wife beater, he sodomized the children, he was playing around with another women (one, or all of the aforementioned) or, she's bipolar, suffers from depression, was an abused child, etc..

I wonder if Katie Colonic will come to her defense like she did Andrea Yates.
If she uses anything like this as her defense,she'd better have proof....police reports,photos,testament from non-relatives,etc,etc (kinda like what Nicole Simpson had).If she has such proof,a jury/judge may well go easy her,or even find her not guilty (as I would probably do...*with* strong evidence).
If there's no evidence of this sort,fry her!
I don't feel sorry for her having to pay the price for the crime. Even in abusive households you can always grab your kids and get out. And if he was cheating she should have divorced him and ruined him financially. Murder is almost never the answer.
But I pity her having to deal with the fact that she has effectively orphaned her kids. And of course I feel sorry for the children, whose lives were ripped apart 3 days ago.
