On his Countdown show Thursday night, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann devoted part of his "Worst Person in the World" segment to attacking former First Lady Barbara Bush over a donation she made to the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, a donation she required be used to buy education software for Houston schools from her son Neil's software company. Olbermann snapped that if you "make the charity give the donation to your son, it's not a damned donation anymore!" However, the Countdown host neglected to mention that the Bush family had also given other donations without any requirement as to how the money should be spent.

Yep Olberturd is a classic example of a pile of feces that somehow moves.
To: rcocean
I imagine he also thinks choosing your cause to give too, or donating to a specific department in a university,or having a wing or stadium or building named after you for your donation is wrong.
Olbermann is a Dickwad.

olbermannn (whatever) has tried to pick a fight with Rush and O'Reilley and Fox News..but they have ignored him..knowing that saying anything would give his grade Z show some attention..maybe he thought by insulting President Bush's mom he might get some much needed attention (in more ways than one)..
To: robowombat
Ahhhh...sentient poo, huh? I dont think Mr. Hanky would appreciate having Olberturd, lumped in with him. (Pun intended)

Serious question: Why hasn't the MSM been classified as a "Hate Group" yet?
To: rcocean
Olberman has about thirty viewers. Forget him.

I thought Olbermann was billed as a business expert (sic)?
He should know that a gift in kind of services can be very complicated to calculate for taxes, and its normal practice to give earmarked donations. Basically, Mrs. Bush was giving a gift of educational software, but to give it through a designated cash donation is easier to track on taxes..

Countdown is basically a home video because only Olberman's friends and family are the ones watching.

I agree. The ignorance of some of these Bush haters is
beyond description. GHWBush was a heroic pilot during
the Pacific War and I was fuzzy cheeked sailor on the
same Aircraft carrier...I knew his ship's gunner and
he had great admiration for him as he was a straight and
class guy...Barbara is also of the simuilar stock...to
be in a positin of an O-man and make these type of
disparaging remarks is just plain...ignorant. Jake

Wouldn't be suprised to see George senior kick his ass. I'd bet Barbera could do the job but she's too much of a lady.
George senior has to be 80+ and still could do the job.
Celebrity death match, kieth the punkass gets whipped by Barbera bush. Love to see it.

"Olbermann snapped that if you "make the charity give the donation to your son, it's not a damned donation anymore!" " This guy is certainly accounting challenged. The school ultimately wound up with a software product it needed and didn't have. Mrs. Bush could have simply gone out and purchased this software and donated it to the school with the exact same results. Besides, schools typically get deep discounts on software and wealthy mother's don't. |

The man will stop at nothing to stay in the lime lite. I don't watch the wind bag, and in-fact I do not watch anything NBC or MSNBC has to air. If my TV is on two hours, one hour and forty five minutes will be on fox news and the more left FN gets the less of my time they will get.
