No, but those here represent a cross section of the GOP base.

On Terri the base was divided. FR polls indicated as much. On the ports the base was divided. Polls on FR evidenced the same attitude. On Miers in the second poll opinion was overwhelmingly against her confirmation. That aptly represented the base. Opinion was very highly in favor of Roberts and Alito, that evidenced the sentiments of the base.

McCain's not hitting the general election without getting through the GOP base. Unless he takes the Independent road. And the GOP base despises him. It is newsworthy that an active conservative board such as this one registers such high negatives against his probable candidacy.

Stealing the right of free speech will do that. McCain is a snake-in-the-grass RINO. Look at the amnesty bill he is running with the Swimmer to see just how much he hares America.
