Agreed. If they silence some of us, they can silence all of us. If the First Amendment is precious to the liberals and the moderates, it is sure as hell precious to the conservatives. None of us deserves any threats of silencing for the sake of political convenience.

(snip)
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) yesterday postponed a controversial decision on subjecting Internet political speech to campaign-finance regulations, raising the stakes for todays scheduled House vote on a bill that exempts all blogs, Web ads and other online communications.

Why do they call this guy a war hero?I've often wondered that myself. Getting shot down and captured doesn't make you a hero. Shooting the enemy down in large numbers... now THAT makes you a hero.

We seem to be against the grain here but those are my thoughts too. I won't vote for the dem or third party candidate. You two are not alone; I'll be damned if I'll EVER pull the lever to give the Democratic Party back what they want -- power.
I've seen what they are capable of when they are OUT of power -- and there is nothing anybody can say that will convince me that if they get it back, they'll ever turn it loose.
NO THANKS.

If this would have been in effect during the 04 elections, the CBS Memo story would have never been shown to be false. We would be turning our country over to the MSM who would be able to smear who ever they saw fit by calling it news.
