It's not his opinions I have trouble with.
These people are heroes and deserve huge support of every kind.
Next time a Democratic friend complains about immigration, and especially about Republicans not controlling it, ask him/her how many Minutemen -- the people actually doing something about the problem -- are Democrats, and what party the thugs who attack the Minutemen are in.
Well, let me see - the President called the Minutemen "vigilantes" and last I checked, he was a Republican.
>>>"Get an old Crown Vic and paint 'INS' on it and park it near the dweeb's restaurant."
Now there's a novel solution: fleets of old Crown Vics cruising worker pickup sites across the U.S.
Finally a way to salvage the private market's preferred choice of cabbies and salesmen during the 70's and 80's.
Here's comments (from MotorTrend):
"A [2006] black LX Sport looks a lot like an unmarked police car, so other drivers often will slow down and move to the right lane when you come up behind them, an extremely useful feature for highway commuters.
...if your ultimate goal is to play Hawaii Five-O or be Travis Bickle, the Crown Vic is definitely the car for youat least until the police version of the Charger hits the streets.
A definitive American sedan, the Crown Victoria appeals most to drivers who remember first-hand the classic cars from the 1960s. Otherwise, the Crown Vic is best left to the professionals."

They forgot to mention that for the younger crowd, the Crown Vic still has a bench seat in the front for convenient Friday night smooching.
I mean the people who LITERALLY attack the Minutemen.
Bush's mind has been colonized by the liberal perspective on immigration. He is simply wrong on this issue, wrong to the extent of insulting the patriots who take action on this.
Again, I'm referring to the people who LITERALLY attack the Minutemen. And to the fact that (I assume) very few Minutemen are Democrats.
In short, don't be stupid.
In the State of California, it is against the law to impersonate a law enforcement officer: Penal Code Sec. 538(d) "Fraudulent Impersonation of A Peace Officer"
And what "Peace Officer" will be impersonated?
Well, first of all, you responded to a post between me and EternalVigilence (even though you changed it to "everyone"). Some here think Bush is worse than a "thug" for his position on immigration, whether he LITERALLY attacked a Minuteman or not. Lastly, are you talking about actual, physical violence - or a personal attack like calling someone "stupid" online?
Federal immigration agents (according to the posts). There is a federal statute against that as well, Since more and more local authorities are contemplating enforcing federal laws on the subject, that's why I said Penal Code 538(d) could be implicated.
Oh, put a sock in it. Bush is stupid. The people who try to bust up the Minutemen's events and threaten violence against them are evil.
If you don't understand that kind of difference, you don't understand anything.
My response was to the post immediately before mine.
It was signed by "clawrence3."
That's you.
Here's the California statute:
"Any person other than one who by law is given the authority of a peace officer, who willfully wears, exhibits, or uses the authorized uniform, insignia, emblem, device, label, certificate, card, or writing, of a peace officer, with the intent of fraudulently impersonating a peace officer, or of fraudulently inducing the belief that he or she is a peace officer, is guilty of a misdemeanor."
So, I guess it would come down to what the intent was to "Get an old Crown Vic and paint 'INS' on it and park it near the dweeb's restaurant."
Except maybe to you and a bunch of illegal Mexicans.
I'm sorry you won't answer the question, so that I could understand the difference - you're right though, I must not know anything, even after going to law school and all.
Here's hoping no one with a worthy case hires you.
Your post #22 was to EternalVigilante's post #21.
Nice to meet you too. If you really don't want to engage in a civil discussion, that's fine with me.
The "intent" is all that would matter.
Sure, it would be. And the state would be all over it to prosecute.
Scroll back and you'll see that my 22 was to "everyone" and had nothing to do with 21.
My next post was a response to your 23, which was to me.
While I think you are blind and unfair in equating Bush to the anti-Minutemen thugs, or suggesting he's worse, I still commend you for any involvement you have in this issue. It is a difficult one, and many "conservatives" shy away from it, which is cowardly.
