Speaking of that area, Torie...do you remember the city councilcreep Hal Bernson? He destroyed that area in the early 80's, over ran the horse community with houses...at least the $$'s stayed there though.
Thirty some odd years ago, I lived off of Benedict Canyon with 3 other girls with whom I worked. It's been a LONG time.
I remember the name. He along with a gay guy, who finally retired to manage an art museum in NYC, were the only two GOP members of the city council, back in the 1970's. I suspect the city council is now a GOP free zone, all 15 of them, with about most of the Anglos in near kook territory. I say that as a "moderate." LOL.
