I remember the name. He along with a gay guy, who finally retired to manage an art museum in NYC, were the only two GOP members of the city council, back in the 1970's. I suspect the city council is now a GOP free zone, all 15 of them, with about most of the Anglos in near kook territory. I say that as a "moderate." LOL.
Isn't Antonovich (sp?) still hanging on there? Wasn't he the only other GOP?
Or, perhaps he was "post Bernson." Been so long now.
