ANother Baltimore station, 680AM had Rush, but lost it because they refused to censure a lib host who was trashing Rush, and she was on just before his show. That station has nearly gone into obscurity, and probably could be purchased at firesale prices right now. WHen they had Rush, they were the top station.

I don't believe Rush is the problem at WBAL and I don't believe they think so either. It is probably a budget problem and a bad way to handle it. The news director is putting his job on the line making such a move.

Their ratings drop is in association with the ease of access to Rush via the Internet, those who had to access Rush on the radio now choose live audio streaming on the Internet. That is all I do now except when I am in my car.
