I don't believe Rush is the problem at WBAL and I don't believe they think so either. It is probably a budget problem and a bad way to handle it. The news director is putting his job on the line making such a move.
Their ratings drop is in association with the ease of access to Rush via the Internet, those who had to access Rush on the radio now choose live audio streaming on the Internet. That is all I do now except when I am in my car.

I stopped listening to WMAL as a protest for increasing their lib factor on the channel. IU hated their ad that went something like, "A plane fly with only a right wing." I kept thinking they have never seen a shot up A-10, P-47, or B-17.

You are probably right.
I have a friend who is a lawyer, and he has three ads on both Rush and Sean. To advertise on Rush is considerably more expensive. He didn't say what his ad rate is.
