I am addicted to 24, but my wife is bored by it. She doesn't like "split action" which is the key to 24 and Clancy. Do you like reading Tom Clancy? I would guess not, because 24 sort of parallels that kind of writing...Plus she's native Thai and she says the English is too fast for her.
I am addicted still....think it's the best thing on TV...and also like Prison Break! Know tons of others who are worse than me and you put together as far as being 24 freaks!
I like Clancy. The story line is interesting, but the switching headshots when the dialog switches talkers got obnoxious.
"Hello?" (headshot of Jack saying hello)
"Yes, this is Joe the telemarketer..." (switch to Joe)
"No, I don't own my own house." (switch to Jack, showing his grimace)
"Sir, we aren't sellinghome improvements..."(switch to Joe, showing the puzzled look)
"And I don't want to switch phone companies." (switch to show Jack's frustration)
"Sir, we aren't with the phone company..."(switch to show Joe's same puzzled look)
"Look! I'M NOT INTERESTED!"(switch to show Jack loading a cartridge into the chamber of his pistol)
"But, with Comcast Cable..." (switch to show Jack behind Joe) BANG!
