All the petroleum product out here in the Alaskan Bush has to be flown in or brought in by barge when the river isn't frozen.
The guy who owns the gas station can pretty much jack the price up to anything he wants as there is no alternative.

If US-based enviromental whackos, and Jeb Bush allowed us to drill the gulf, we could have gotten that oil before Mexico.What about the recent technology that allows for angled drilling?
For example, the oil well can be in one State while the oil is under the neighboring State.

Got bored with paying forty bucks a month to allow them to insult my taste and intelligence and sh*tcanned everything but my local stations.
BTW, by actual measure, the TV is now on at most an hour (usually when there's a grandkid watching a DVD) and our public library use has quadrupled (mostly for those same grandkids when they get bored with the movies).
