Got bored with paying forty bucks a month to allow them to insult my taste and intelligence and sh*tcanned everything but my local stations.
BTW, by actual measure, the TV is now on at most an hour (usually when there's a grandkid watching a DVD) and our public library use has quadrupled (mostly for those same grandkids when they get bored with the movies).
Looks like we think similiar.
I told the cable company to stick it where the sun dont shine for the same reasons.
Put up a stone aged TV antenna and couldnt be happier.
I get local news, ball games and car races.
And you cant beat the price.
What more could one want?
