Some medical and legal experts doubt that Wohlford's tattoo would be binding in the emergency room or in court.Why wouldn't it be binding? Of course she could have a change of heart in the ER, but so could those who have legal documents too.

I really suppose it would be binding no matter what. Now, if it said "Do Resuscitate", then maybe a signed document with all the stamps and seals may be considered invalid.
I guess I am a bit cynical, but figure many of the decision makers who may favor euthanasia would always default to the side of death.
