Both sides? Why wouldn't they include all religious creation myths?

Exactly. If it's okay to teach Christian/Jewish views of creation, why not Wiccaism? Hinduism? Occultism?

Most religions agree on the point of there being a creator. Genesis won't be entering the curricula of public schools any time soon. What needs to be in public schools is the idea pertaining to the possible existence of some sort of designer. I have no quarrel with people claiming that the explanation of the universe is purely material. I just don't accept it. Respect my beliefs that there is a creator and I will respect yours that there is not. If you want to argue about it, shoot, just don't expect me to give up thirty seconds into the discussion.

The evolutionists have no proof human life evolved from other Terran life more than those who would say humans were marooned and/or engineered here by extraterrestrials.

Evolutionists make the fallacious assumption this planet is the starting point for all life and is the encapsulated center of the universe unaffected by anything (or anyone) beyond it. It is akin to saying the sun revolves around the earth.

Not at all scientific of them; it is a faith based theory no different in logical fallacy than creationism in the ‘appeal to false authority.’

I honestly do not have any problem with the teaching of myths and religions in schools, teach all of them not just a select one or couple. I think that it could actually help us understand who we are, as humans, and where we came from, historicaly, better. BUT I also DO NOT think they should be taught in a SCIENCE class.
