You heard that Dick Morris comment, too! I couldn't turn off O'Reilly fast enough! Sadly, I think that many Americans share Morris' ignorant opinion. That shows how little press is given to President Bush's daily activities. After hearing ex42's voice on practically every half hour radio news for 8 years, I looked forward to hearing W's. Was I ever in for a disappointment. C-Span didn't even cover his state visit to India, etc. It's a good thing we have the new media, especially FreeRepublic.

Good evening Snugs. Thank you for the Dose!
I love the look on THE President's face in that middle photo. He often cocks his head that way with a kind and attentive look when others are speaking.

That is why also that Biden can get away with remarks that the President should get on plane and try to to get allies abroad because the American people are not really aware he has just returned from India/Pakistan.
Also Dick Morris sees work as spin events not the day to day grind that even a President has to do.
I am not a Blair fan but I do not say my PM is not working because I do not see or hear him on the TV for a few days. I assume he is working behind the scenes or for whatever reason it has not been covered by the media.
The way Dick Morris is talking he is assuming that Americans would not think that way as well which to me is inputing ignorance to the general public.

lol! You gotta love Barney - and I bet there are some days when talking to and listening to Barney is the Presidents best "advice" of the day! Although W has said that Barney is the only "person" who ignores the leader of the free world!!!

Dogs have a wonderful way of making people see things in perspective they do not appreciate the pecking order that we hold in the world they love us for what we are.

After a minute he opened the door to the Oval Office and looked out with a smile on his face."That was great," Bush said to his chief of staff. "She was just calling to tell me she loves me."
So beautiful....sniff-sniff. Thanks for sharing.

Unconditional love is a rare and beautiful thing.

I happened to turn on the TV to hear Morris say that again. I fired off a lengthy email, directing him to check this thread every evening, because the media he is relying on for his news, is not doing a very good job of informing him of President Bush's activities.

lol yep makes me shiver too. I love that pic. It's one of my faves...there's one thing I don't like about it though. I think he should have been closer to her than what he was.
