My husband and kids do it pretty well getting me to come unglued on occasion though. I think they rehearse when we are not around! ;*)

I really have no idea. I have learned about other ME countries when I would meet some one from there, but Egypt was not one of them.

GREAT pics!!! I've always wanted to go to see the Nile. I have drawings of some of those ancient cities. I've even framed one, and have it on my wall right by our bedroom. This is weird, on Sunday, we watched a special on Cleopatra and they featured many of the cities on the Nile. One featured city...it started with an F was the exact city in the drawing on my wall. Now...you are posting pictures of this same area....What ARE the odds? I think I'm going to take this as a SIGN!

I wish you would...it would save my nerves! ha ha ha
I have this picture on the back of my car and it reads, "Chloe Rules!" A lady stopped me and her daughter's name was Chloe, so that's why she asked me what the sign on the back of my car was. I asked her if she ever saw the TV show, "24" ....she hadn't. Poooooor woman, huh?

The memories are coming back yes it is Coptic just round the corner from our hotel was the local Coptic School.
I can also remember seeing some Muslim girl students walking along beside the Nile and what made me smile was underneath their long garments they were wearing chunky modern shoes and one of them was wearing trainers.
The modern mixed with the traditional
