I think it is a great idea and will probably work with the knee jerk people who when push comes to shove put their country and President first but the die hard disruptor's who think it is great sport to upset people especially women will probably just make fun of it/you, or get more upset.

Oh my...beautiful scenery. WOW! How wonderful you were able to visit.
About the camel...was that at all comfortable? Did you control the reins at all, or did the young man lead you the whole time. What an experience!
You just burst my "proper English Lady" bubble about you! LOL!

They are lost causes of course. Getting them more upset, even if it is to make fun of me would be fine. I've got a pretty thick skin, and I'd be kind of interested to test the "a soft answer turneth away wrath" Proverb.
But maybe we could just turn this ship around a bit.
We'll see. It will be an interesting experiment.
Hey I love the camel pics. That looks like a great trip.

No, not better. Just tired of the reactionary response to everything these days on all sides. It's so boring. So I decided to try something new.
Since I'm taking the Bot name in vain, I felt like I needed to ask permission.
To: snugs
I'm serious too! LOL! And I'm gonna put it on my homepage: "Snugs On A Camel" :-D

I don't know if it will work or not, but you certainly deserve credit for trying.

The young lad lead all the time, actually the saddle was quite comfortable and I suppose we were on the camel for about half an hour.
It was great we went right up to edge of the Nile where the locals were cultivating their crops.
The holiday was just wonderful we got friendly with the owners of a gift shop who were a Christian family and the son took us one evening to a Egyptian cafe for a meal it was a great experience.
It was also interesting because Ramadan was on during the time I was there, so you had half the population not eating or drinking before sundown and then other half carrying on as normal. It was amazing to see them running when the mosque signaled that it was time for evening prayers/festivities to begin. All the back streets were decked out with ribbons and decorations.

You ever read the old children's book The Carrot Seed?
I figure it will be something like that. Or not. ; D.
