But what "there" are you referencing there?

The there that they and their associates know is there, but they can’t get past their biases and admit that there is a there there and they know it!

That's correct. According to the article, they are still working out the "details".

"President Bush has decided it's time for some distributive translating!"

You are so right.

If we can get 50,000 Arabic speakers working on this they will all be translated really quickly.

It's time to publicise this to all non Muslim Arabic speaking populations.

There was an article in the WSJ that said that Bush has been calling for the release of the tapes/documents, for some time, but has been receiving resistance from the NSA, supposedly to protect Russia and France, but also to protect the CIA from looking too stupid for claiming that there were WMDs and then afterwards saying that they were wrong, when they were really right, all along.

It's obvious that somebody was covering up for something. Releasing these documents might be the only thing that helped me keep my sanity after the increase spending thing passed today.

As much as I hate doing it, I am leaning toward staying home the next election cycle and maybe a few after that. The Republicans have become democrat lite and I can't stand it anymore.

The lefty media will fish for certain phrases of 'zionism' and 'bloodlust' on our part...and innocence and naivity on our enemies part.....the right wing bloggers (us) will fish for substance...no matter what we try to do..some arabic language 'person' will be doing all the translating..and since they like the useful idiots better than us...it will all come out bad...for us.

I read that the President had asked that the documents and tapes be released in November and that Negroponte was dragging his feet.

You can't always believe what you read. I just finished on another thread debunking an article that made that claim.

If you can back this charge up with specific quotes, be my guest but I haven't seen such evidence yet.

I think that I read it in the WSJ. The article was about why the tapes and documents hadn't been released, and the argument that Negroponte was giving about protecting allies. The conclusion was that it might be our own CIA that was being protected from the embarassment of having been right about the WMDs.

This will be the ONLY and LAST time anyone will hear about this! Fox won't even follow up....

Since the Sunday shows are already full discussing Bush's low poll numbers, they probably won't have any time for this story.

Why would Negroponte do that?
