"Perhaps those who eschew an eye for an eye are at a higher level of incarnation than thee"
You're statement is a little ambiguous..........Are you patting yourself on the back for being some wise and holy being? Or are you saying that Shaun_MD is a believer in "eye for an eye" which is a bad thing, therefore he is bad or atleast unworthy and contemptible in your "higher being" eyes?
Have you studied the Badgadavita much? Since your post is not real clear on that, I wonder if your grasp of Karma is maybe a little shaky too?
Its pretty clear that you haven't a clue to the meaning of "eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth". Why don't you spend a little time studying the word of God? You might still not like it, but at least you'd know.

You'll learn something about me real quick. I don't usually repond to baiting or the tactics you seem to use in your posts. I will however this time give you the benefit of the doubt. Your post strikes me as arrogant and elitist. It also makes very little sense.
Turning the other cheek and loving your enemy are very noble ideas. Read the Bible like Silver Charm told you.
Those ideas assume that you can personally reach an understanding with your enemy and living your life by example, you can change your enemy's heart. But what if that understanding can't be reached?
