'Big George': The Coming Attack on Iran

WASHINGTON -- Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney calls it the "Big George" scenario.
According to the man who helped plan the first air war against Saddam in 1991, U.S. aircraft, armed with conventional bunker-buster bombs, would be more than enough to wipe out Iran's nuclear and missile facilities, and cripple its ability to command and control its military forces.

Good report JP. I agree with this statement. While we don't have the force levels to mount a successful invasion of Iran, we do have more than enough firepower to neutralize the Iranian threat. I'm not a fan of 'nation' building. I am of the opinion that if you threaten us we have the self defensive right to destroy the entire threatening country and LEAVE it destroyed. Just my $.02
