ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The saga of a young illegal immigrant found living in Apple Valley High School continues after he was charged in a violent home invasion on the East Coast.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS first told you about Francisco Serrano's arrest on Tuesday. "

ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "After he was found in the school last April, Serrano agreed to return to his native Mexico after a judge denied his attorney’s request to allow him to stay in the United States. Serrano was thought to have boarded a plane bound for Mexico City, but his mother told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in February that he had not returned to Mexico.

American Airlines confirmed that Serrano's ticket had not been used."

ARTICLE SNIPPET #3: "A Boston woman said Serrano kicked in her apartment door and threatened to attack her early in the morning on March 29.

“He said, ‘I’m not here to steal, I’m here to kill,’” the woman said, requesting anonymity.

Her roommate grabbed a sauce pan and hit Serrano over the head."

"Gunfire erupts near Chad capital"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Gunfire has been heard in Chad's capital, amid reports that rebels bent on overthrowing the president had moved to within 100km (65 miles) of the city.
An army source told the AFP news agency that fighting broke out at about 0530 (0430GMT), when troops attacked rebel positions near N'Djamena.

Security in the capital has been tightened, with armoured vehicles and a heavy army presence on the streets.

It comes weeks before polls expected to be won by President Idriss Deby.

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said he was "deeply concerned" by the fighting."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "ADAMS COUNTY - A Denver woman was arrested Monday after a 5-month-old boy she had been baby-sitting died.

Laura Cervantes, 32, was being held at Adams County Jail on one count of child abuse resulting in death. Bail was set at $100,000. She also has an immigration hold and allegedly entered the country illegally four years ago.

Adams County sheriff's deputies were called to St. Anthony North Hospital Thursday morning on a report of possible child abuse.

Cervantes had brought the 5-month-old boy to the hospital saying he was sick. However, an emergency room doctor determined that the baby had suffered a severe head injury."
