I agree. This whole thing shows that conservatives can be as kneejerk and ready to jump to conclusions based on emotion as liberals, and certain conservative pundits (eg. Malkin) are not immune from cherrypicking quotes and facts to bolster their case, just like the MSM does.

Yup, knee-jerk conservatives acting like liberals. I feeeeeel that this is a bad deal. Don't bother trying to listen to the facts. Maybe we need affirmitive action on these port sales.

You're right. As the world becomes increasingly complex it becomes increasingly necessary for leaders to be able to educate others on complex issues. Otherwise the ignorant mob prevails. Bush failed. Congress was never even in the game. Just pitiful.
