NO story yet, just a blurb on website and TV.

Slaps head - wondering why I didn't think of that.
"Guess these tires are about as rare as Bruno Magli shoes at a murder scene.
"
Could be they're that rare in Alabama. Special order stuff. One report I read said that the SUV belonged to Cloyd's parents. I'll bet they're real proud of their son Russ right now.
There will be lots to watch on the Birmingham TV feeds tonight. Should be fun to watch these kids get their just deserts. I've already seen one piece of video of them in the cop car.
This was no joke, not one, not eleven churches. Of course, they are going to say whatever is in their best interest.
Exactly. These doofs were too stupid to realize that they were riding on Neon Signs pointing right to them.
I still think the "joke" story is a ruse that they are hoping works. I am sticking with the theater students doing a "documentary" theory.
Plus, I think that Cloyd is the ringleader and not Mosely.
""This was no joke, not one, not eleven churches. "
I don't take it as a joke. Not at all. It may just be, though, that these idiots thought it was funny. I've seen stuff almost as stupid from boys this age.
Yeah, well I make my living figureing out better ways to do things...
Until I see pic of Cloyd my money would be on Moseley.
" I am sticking with the theater students doing a "documentary" theory.

Oh, I'm betting there's video of them torching the churches. Theater kids...how could they resist. And you may be right about Cloyd. Apparently it was his parents' SUV they were using. Dumb and dumber.
Does she breed Pit Bulls?
Tires and wheels are "the thing" now in my neck of the woods. Parents have been known to shell out $2500 for the suspension lift just so 35 x 12.50's with 20" wheels (another $2500) will fit under the truck. Most kids' trucks I see these days are outfitted with all sorts and combinations of these oddities. ;-)
News conference in a half hour.
You may be right bw, but I am going on the fact that he is older 22-23ish as compared to 19, He is a graduate of B Southern and now at UAB, and it was his vehicle used in the crimes. To me that points to him manipulating the younger guys into helping him. The whole "It was a joke" and blaming on the younger guy, is just the type of thing a manipulator would do too.
They usually only support really wacky causes, so it might be possible that there may be people at the ACLU that think that burning down conservative Christian churches is a expression of Freedom of Speech.
I believe there is a poster who name is formerACLU. He/she might be able to say if there is any truth in my post.
Oh, sure... but how people did you know who weren't really one-armed men?
I'm dying to read your comments now that we know that the perps are white.
LOL ... I think we're getting closer to the profile ... if the police had only consulted us earlier.
I do enjoy rubbing in the fact that the original tires are still on my F-150, and only 1/3 way worn, while he is already getting ready to buy his third set of tires. He has also had to replace on rim that bent when he "curb-checked" while parking.
Nah... They're dumb, all right, because all dumbass teens say their misbehavior started out as "a joke."
But I guarantee you that even the first set of arsons wasn't "a joke" at the time. They were all pissed about churches, or something, and now they're being typical dumbasses trying to downplay the seriousness of what they did.
