Praise Jesus! If these people are the criminals, I hope they get the maximum sentence allowed!

Excellent news. Glad they finally caught (some of) the morons.

If they were not from Bibb County, which it appears not, there had to be someone involved who knew the locations of these churches. They were off the beaten path.
Grayson Valley is a neighborhood in the extreme northwestern edge of Birmingham. He would have probably attended Huffman High.
Hoover is a sprawling suburb south off Birmingham. At least it was just south yesterday. It could have spread further overnight as it is growing bigger than Bham itself.
Don't know where the third guy is from other than he attends UAB.

*sigh* It's California...
GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!!!
Just kidding!
I think the MySpace on "Ben" listed Round Rock, Texas as home (I need to look back to be sure).
Round Rock is just outside of Austin...*sigh*

Churches are fair game - according to the ACLU.
Now if it was a place of Satan worship or witchcraft, the ACLU would condemn the burnings, or if the churches were Gay rights churches committed to the god of perpetual indulgence/wickiness...

OTOH, if you see a surname like
Nkomo, you'd be pretty well certain of not finding any
but black people associated with it....

I've never thought it was Muslims. That's not their MO. If they'd gone into the church with bombs strapped to them and blew everyone to Jesus, I'd believed it. Body parts on the news...that's what they like.
Stealthy church fires...that's not their way.

agreed. They would not have wasted their time with empty churches either.

Also, Muslims would have gone after bigger churches and synagogues.

Not very likely they are straight: even less likely they are truly Christian, more likely christian-hating. Bingo.
Since we're guessing here ... I'll take gay, liberal students aggrieved over Baptists' stand on homosexuality.

We are getting off topic here.

there had to be someone involved who knew the locations of these churches. They were off the beaten path. Not necessarily. You can use Yahoo! Maps to find them, and it even gives explicit driving directions to get there. All you really need is a desire to hit Baptist churches, and a map to find "out of the way" towns.
