If they were not from Bibb County, which it appears not, there had to be someone involved who knew the locations of these churches. They were off the beaten path.

Grayson Valley is a neighborhood in the extreme northwestern edge of Birmingham. He would have probably attended Huffman High.

Hoover is a sprawling suburb south off Birmingham. At least it was just south yesterday. It could have spread further overnight as it is growing bigger than Bham itself.

Don't know where the third guy is from other than he attends UAB.

Not necessarily. You can use Yahoo! Maps to find them, and it even gives explicit driving directions to get there. All you really need is a desire to hit Baptist churches, and a map to find "out of the way" towns.

Actually, Grayson Valley is on the extreme northEASTERN edge of Birmingham. The house where Moseley grew up is a scant half mile from mine and is on the perimeter of the Grayson Valley Country Club. The neighborhood is solid Republican and very conservative. Moseley attended Clay-Chalkville High School. My 15 y/o daughter tells me she is in the same graduating class of his younger sister.

Also, and this is not directed at you, but a lot of folks have been commenting on what a lib school BSC is. It may be, but I have numerous friends that graduated from BSC and they are anything but liberal.

Dittos on the Hoover comment.

i think Grayson Valley is in the Jefferson County school system in some places or the Trussville school system. Huffman is a Birmingham City school, mostly black now, but it was white some years back. Rueben Studdard went there.

Hoover is mostly white with pockets of Mexicans and blacks. Not as rich as Mountain brook, but it has some nice areas. Bart Starr lives in Hoover.

I think one of the kids is from Indian Springs, which is in Shelby COunty, about two blocks outside of Hoover. He went to Indian Springs I think I heard. It's a private boarding and day school.
