She died of lung cancer. Haven't found any links yet. Heard it on WLSAM Chicago.
It may be that simple, but as long as there is something easy to blame, will we ever know?
I would rather see the resources spent on understanding the fundamentals of the disease and finding a way to short circuit it, so to speak, than whining about cigarettes. If we can cure it, the cause becomes moot.
My prayers for the children and loved ones of the Reeves.
I happily concede your point!
Appreciate your comments. My friend is nearing 80 and is still in great mental shape, in spite of lung cancer surgery, an aneurism and terrible pain.
It's a good thing you're not the last word on that.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:18 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
I knew when I posted my comments there would be a flame or two..I appreciate both sides of the issue..:)

This really upset me. She is so young and now her son is an orphan without his mom and dad. We were recently discussing cancer in a medical class I am in and talking about what specifically causes the cells to mutate (ie. what really causes cancer) and there are a lot of theories about stress. I think in time we will come to see that this plays a pivotal role in certain and maybe even all cancers.
Very sad. She seemed to be the perfect soulmate for Chris Reeves.
On the topic of lung cancer and her age: The cause may have been due to genetics, high concentrations of unvented radon in her home, she was exposed to high doseages of radiation from an unknown source in her world travels, etc..
As a widow myself she is at peace she is with her husband. My thoughts and prayers are to her family and son
I just rewatched the first 2 Superman films. I had been watching the first four seasons of Smallville prior to sending them to the troops, and got a yearning to see adult Superman in full costume.
Christopher Reeve absolutely glowed with magic in that role on the big screen. Politics aside, he left a great mythic screen legacy.
I'm very sorry to hear about Dana's passing, and send prayers for their 13 year old son, Will, and Reeve's 2 grown children, Matthew, 25, and Alexandra, 21, by his common law wife from years before, Gae Exton.
Cute kid, hopefully he has extended family that will love him as their own.
The embryos are there either way. Might as well make use of them instead of them going to waste.
And to not make it for others as I was pointing out to the other poster.
I don't think either one was a Christian.
It's not your place to condemn others. It's up to God to decide, not your interpretation of what God said or your interpretation of another's life.
"Breast, prostate, cervical cancers and many others are being linked to viruses."
I don't know about breast and prostate cancer, but its a well know fact the promiscuity is the main reason for cervical cancer.
Tragic indeed.
